Tropical Storm Imelda had a greater impact on us than we could have imagined.

In just five days, Tropical Storm Imelda had a greater impact on us than we could have imagined. It forced us to reschedule a fundraiser. It delayed a charity golf tournament, which will delay a grant award. It rained out a race where a supporter was soliciting sponsors. But what really hurt was the news that Tropical Storm Imelda caused the roof to collapse on a mail processing center in North Houston, and the impact is being felt by nonprofits around the region.

All of this to say, we need YOUR help!

We are helping more children than ever before.  With the new school year, we expanded from three to five Houston schools.  Our hope is to reach twice as many students by the end of the school year.  In other words, we want to help more students than ever break the cycle of incarceration that has trapped so many families in our community.
