Children of incarcerated parents may be among the most vulnerable children in our society,
but their past doesn't define their future.
The best way to understand the challenges our students face is to hear their stories.
IN THEIR OWN WORDS
The students in our programs have lived through some of the biggest challenges a teen can face. Yet, they are some of the most resilient, inspiring young men and women you will ever meet.
Devon Wade came to his first No More Victims class as a shy 15-year old with two parents in prison. He became a brilliant, inspiring leader, a Harry S Truman Scholar who was pursuing a doctorate from Columbia University when news anchor Dominique Sachse profiled him for KPRC news. Dr. Wade died tragically in 2017, but he continues to be an inspiration for No More Victims students.
